Filters and Options Explained

Generation and region

Each checkbox maps a generation to its region, from Gen 1 (Kanto, Pokémon #1 to #151) through Gen 9 (Paldea, #906 to #1025). Untick everything except one generation to randomly generate Pokémon from that era only, for example only Gen 1 for a Kanto-themed draw.

Types

Rarity: legendaries, mythicals, Ultra Beasts and Paradox Pokémon

The rarity filter splits the Pokédex into six tiers: regular Pokémon, sub-legendaries (like Articuno or the Galarian birds), box legendaries (like Rayquaza or Miraidon), mythicals (like Mew or Pecharunt), Ultra Beasts, and Paradox Pokémon.
